Saw dust floor
Preachers of old
Late night services
Early morning services
You've served us well these many years
Generations have come and gone
Congregational songs have reverberated from under your roof
Special singing...young and old
So many memories made, friendships cemented
Souls saved, lives changed forever
When we remember, well, a tear cannot be held back
Shouts of victory
Tears of sorrow, tears of Joy
Victories won
And, yes, romances begun, not a few
Council given, council received
Gospel messages, 1000’s, preached
Altars filled
Songs went on until late at night under your protective shelter
God’s spirit present
Hearts comforted
The Devil defeated
Bodies healed
Hearts made new
Tears flowing
Tears wiped away
Conviction strong…sinners and saints alike
Fellowship so sweet and real
You’ve weathered many a stormy night, a stormy day


Does God dwell in houses made with hands? No.....but, yet...


Alas, the time has come for you to retire and make way for a younger, stronger replacement.


Oh, how desperately we will miss you, our dear friend.
You will never be forgotten
The time has come, I suppose, for this change, although we make it with some reluctance, a tug at the heart, and, yes, a tear or two.
