We are thankful to the Lord for coming down and blessing us with a wonderful Monark Springs Campmeeting this year! The tabernacle was erected in time thanks to the Lord's blessing, and the enormous efforts of many. We still lack a few items to be completed with the tabernacle phase of the Master Plan.
TABERNACLE
So far we have received $333,748.31.
Tabernacle expenditures have been $292,892.45.
Urgent needs for finishing the tabernacle are Outside Doors to protect from mice, birds, etc... Estimated at $37,788.00
Future tabernacle expenses:
Air Movement Equipment: Apprx. $4,000.00
Sound: Building interior Sound Deflection, Sound System equipment. translation equipment. $(TBD)
Landscaping still to complete: $2,500.00 (dirt, grass, misc. loose ends)
NEW DINING HALL
At the business meeting a Dining Hall plan was introduced. That can be found here.
The Master Plan budgeted about $340,000.00 for the Dining Hall.
We could break ground if we had about $150,000.00.
This includes Site work, Concrete Slab, Septic System, Metal Building Rough-In, and restrooms.

We are very thankful that in spite of over TWENTY inches of rain since this project began April 25th, as of this morning, the footings, stemwalls, podium, all flat areas, and 1 sloped wedge have been poured! The folks from Shawnee are pouring 2 more sloped wedges today. That will leave 3 more sections and the outside support columns which we hope to complete in a final pour next Wednesday. Many long hours have been given by several and we are very thankful! The building has been ordered and installation is scheduled for June 19th.

The decision has been made to remove the old tabernacle structure leaving the concrete slab. A company has offered to do it for free in exchange for the useable wood. We are keeping some of the wood to integrate into the new tabernacle design.
The plan is to have our next Monark meeting in the new tabernacle. This will require a very intense effort by several. Bro. Michael Gellenbeck has agreed to stay on site for the duration of the project to help oversee and ensure it's successful completion. We need volunteers for a few intense workdays, prayers for protection and favorable weather, and money to complete the project without borrowing.
A project schedule is available here. The facebook page is here. Donations can be given here.
